Chapter 5368
Chapter 5365: Fused Tri-Bloodline
Davis stared at her for a bit before looking away.
"I won’t call you master, that’s for sure."
"Insolent child~"
Fairy Glacia Frigidveil warmly giggled before she shook her head and turned around.
"My help isn’t needed anymore, so I shall not let this young lad experience embarrassment any further. Should you encounter some problems, you know how to call for me."
*Whoosh!~*
Fairy Glacia Frigidveil disappeared as her figure turned to ice and cracked into countless shards.
Azariel didn’t even notice, as he was too busy controlling the process and sharing the pain and experience together with his avatar.
Davis watched her leave, thinking Fairy Glacia Frigidveil wasn’t as rigid as Fairy Qiyra Darkstar.
The former was willing to devour the destruction essence, essentially an act of eating humans, but in Davis’s perspective, he felt like it wasn’t that complicated as it was more like sharing or donating blood essence.
After all, they consented to sharing.
He cast his gaze back to Azariel.
It was true that his son might feel embarrassed later on because he was seen buck naked by Fairy Glacia, not to mention had heard the unbridled screams that were practically inhuman.
Regardless, Davis didn’t think Azariel should be bothered, considering his naked body was practically all over the place as severed and melted parts. Particularly, there were as many as sixty-four long necks that he could see that were discarded.
He felt the need to eliminate all of these grotesque outgrowths later. It reminded him of the time when he was trapped in the blood-sucking plant in the Elemental Dimension because he had to hide from an Archon.
Fortunately, a mere harrumph from the Archon broke off all of the hardened plant-blood armored outgrowth, sparing him the effort to tear them off of him.
Still, Davis felt reassured seeing Azariel’s current progress.
His neck no longer split off into multiple heads or visibly lengthened anymore. It could be said he had brought the bloodline fusion under control! There were still some bumps and unnatural swelling here and there, but Davis could see the new mixed bloodline was gradually taking shape.
For example, Azariel grew two horns over his forehead, and he seemed to have as many as three or six vertical eyes, although that still seemed to be unsettled and debatable in his current state, as the eye-sockets were constantly closing, stitching, or reopening all the while bleeding.
Davis raised his hand and placed the side of his fist over his mouth, wondering if this scary appearance would cause his son’s future prospects to flee.
There was Madam Wesley, who seemed to listen to Clara, but with this kind of appearance, he supposed she wouldn’t dare marry him.
Another was Lyra Mistwalker. He wondered if she would still have a crush on him and would dare to marry him after seeing this appearance.
’Hopefully, it’ll return to one vertical eye after attaining complete fusion with the bloodline. The third eye alone is aesthetically pleasing, but three or six is just downright demonic...’
Still, he felt that this would help Azariel vet them.
Davis still remembered how Yilla was with him even when he had been badly disfigured after his first battle with the Celestial Transcendent in his Immortal King Heavenly Tribulation.
In his books, that was the epitome of ’I don’t care how you look, I just want to be with you’; those feelings made him trust her deeply from then on, never surveilling her even though she was from the wicked path.
Time passed.
Another day passed as the sun set and rose anew.
By this time, many curious souls had already tried to investigate the disturbance using their soul sense, but he had already blocked all of them except the ones belonging to his wives and the one belonging to Vereina.
She had been lured in by the Emperor-Tier Nine-Headed Hydra’s Bloodline, but unfortunately, he didn’t have anything to give to her.
Vereina could only relay her condolences and pity for Azariel before she quickly turned around to leave.
However, he had the corpses of the Nether Devilarchs, so he promised to come see her later.
Vereina left with excitement as she repeatedly told him that she would hold him responsible for this promise, not even knowing he had some terrific gifts prepared for her.
Soon, at noon, the transformation was finally complete.
Azariel dropped to the tiled grounds, gasping for breath as he closed his eyes and began to doze off.
On the other hand, the avatar raised its hand and watched its palm with attention before fishing out a hydra mask from its spatial ring and putting it over its face.
"No need to be shy." Davis’s voice echoed.
"I’ll need some time to adjust."
Azariel’s voice echoed rather quickly but was bone-chillingly cold and layered as though it came from nine souls, "Stupid father, look at what you’ve done to me."
"Isn’t it a success? You’ve even reached Level Nine Empyrean Stage from Level Four Empyrean Stage in a short amount of time; that’s rather miraculous. What do you think of its capability? I doubt you received any inherited memories or instincts, so why don’t you try attacking me to your heart’s content to explore your new bloodline? Don’t worry, I’ll match your prowess. I promise I won’t bully you."
Davis raised his hand, summoning a strange, odd purple-black odd ball at the tip of his index finger before he threw it down.
It struck the ground filled with grotesque and discarded flesh, disintegrating them all as they were taken care of by Destruction Laws.
That directly served to provoke Azariel, causing his third eye to widen as he targeted Davis.
The Collapse Hex fell on Davis, causing the latter’s finger to crack ever so lightly and leak blood.
"How amazing..."
Davis’s eyes flickered. He swore he had lowered his prowess to match Azariel’s, yet the Collapse Hex still injured his physical body.
He found that unlike Evelynn’s Collapse Hex, Azariel’s Collapse Hex was like getting caught underneath a cumulonimbus cloud that dropped a tsunami of water on his head, seeking to crush him with the tumultuous and dense might of water.
He couldn’t believe what he was seeing since the only weakness of the Hex these arachnids used was that the energy it contained was so low that it was breakable and could cause backlash, but Azariel’s Hexes didn’t seem breakable as it latched onto him, nor did it seem like it returned a backlash upon being broken.
"The nine souls of the hydras have always allowed them to guard against backlashes as they evenly distributed the loss and made it negligible. Although you don’t have nine souls, I imagine you have the same properties."
"Yes," Azariel’s breath tensed as he also appeared to be checking himself, "I seem to still have my soul essence, but it’s practically thriving with vitality and able to split off easily without incurring damage. I think I should be able to create more avatars should the need arise."
"Indeed. The nine souls can always have individual bodies. Such a notion is why they have always been unafraid of retaliation and do as their instinct pleases. However, I don’t recommend you make more, as that would cause more instability."
"Naturally-"
Azariel strode towards Davis and punched out, black-green poison erupting from his fist.
Davis also punched out using his chaotic fist, clean and simple.
His punch instantly won the initial exchange as it nearly got to Azariel, but endless poison poured out from Azariel’s fist, eating out the dense chaos energy first and continuing all the way up to Davis, causing Davis to dodge and reappear elsewhere.
"Wonderful! This new poison of yours is insane if it even corrodes chaos energy."
Azariel chuckled coldly, "It’s nowhere near that level, but it does definitely corrode all kinds of energies and even space purely because of the sheer incredulous nature of the dense darkness water mixing with the poison attribute, allowing it to overwhelm chaos energy."
Davis nodded. It was like attacking a person with a group of ten. Azariel’s poison was bound to win if they kept unleashing their moves, as it was likely he would run out of chaos energy first.
But suddenly, he barked, "Hey, careful! Do not hurt your Mother Stella’s sanctuary."
"My bad..."
Azariel flicked his sleeves, hurriedly canceling out his poison attack before it could corrode space and make holes, which would cause the sanctuary to become unstable and give extra work and a headache to Mother Stella.
Seeing his reaction, Davis couldn’t help but laugh.
Fortunately, his Azariel was still the same.
But how sane was the question, including his true martial prowess since his body was recreated using his chaos essence.
It couldn’t be just twelve levels higher like he had shown just now with the bloodline of the three magical beasts. It was more likely even higher, filling Davis with immense confidence that his first son could now win the competition to become the Realm Master of the Six-Headed Hydra Upper Realm!
