Chapter numbers are the standard Japanese numbering of the 97 manga chapters. The manga calls each chapter an 'episode' (第X話) and most are named after a dish, but the numbers are the same. Bonus and extra pages in the volumes are not counted. AniList lists 111 'chapters', which seems to include extras, so we use 97. Per-episode chapters come from the fandom wiki episode pages. Outside sources agree that the season ends at chapter 52 and you should continue from chapter 53. Season 2 has been announced (AniList lists it for 2027) but has not aired, so it is not included.
