Terms of use

These terms describe use of Manga Yugen (“the site”, “we”). By creating an account or submitting content you agree to them. Your rights under mandatory applicable law remain unaffected.
1. Accounts
Do not create an account if you are under 13. You must also meet the minimum age and any parental-consent requirements that apply where you live. This rule does not replace those requirements. Keep your credentials secure, report compromised accounts, and do not impersonate others or create accounts to evade restrictions.
2. Creator applications
Publishing requires an approved creator application. You provide your author name, a description of your work and interest in possible future monetization. Approval can be withdrawn for misuse or rights concerns. It does not verify ownership, grant a staff role or automatically exempt uploads from review.
3. Ownership and publishing permission
You retain ownership of your content. Publish only original work in English that you own or are authorized to publish. Permission must cover the story, artwork, cover, collaborators' contributions and any third-party assets. Keep supporting permissions available for a rights review. Credit contributors accurately and preserve copyright and attribution notices. Buying a copy, public availability or a credit does not itself grant publishing permission.
When you publish, you give us a non-exclusive license, to the extent you can grant it, to store, reproduce and display your content through the site and its ordinary previews, thumbnails and backups. This license is limited to operating and presenting the service; it does not transfer your ownership or grant rights for unrelated commercial exploitation. You authorize technical formatting necessary for display. We do not acquire permission for third-party works merely because you submit them.
You can delete unpublished submissions in Creator studio. Contact Support to withdraw published content. We stop providing public access when a withdrawal is processed; limited backup, security or dispute records may remain where necessary. Copies saved by readers or cached by third parties may remain outside our control.
Do not submit infringing or unlawful material, sexual content involving minors, abuse, malware, spam or other people's private information without authorization. Automated duplicate checks assist human review and are not proof of ownership or legality.
4. Community
Follow the community rules. We may remove posts and comments and suspend accounts that break them.
5. Copyright and disputes
Use the copyright form or contact support@mangayugen.com if you believe content infringes your rights. We review notices, may request missing information and may restrict access while assessing a claim. Affected creators can respond with evidence of permission or mistake. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly publish infringing material, considering the evidence and applicable legal process.
Attribution, a disclaimer, a rights checkbox or these terms does not make unauthorized hosting lawful. Copyright exceptions depend on applicable law and the specific use. We do not promise legal immunity or that a general notice form qualifies the site for any statutory safe harbor.
6. Future monetization
No creator payment or revenue-sharing program is currently offered. We may explore advertising monetization, including a possible 50% share of advertising revenue attributable to eligible work. An application or expression of interest does not guarantee a program, earnings, payments or eligibility. A future program requires separate terms defining eligible revenue, deductions, reporting, payment conditions and rights permissions.
7. Availability and responsibility
We aim to maintain the service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. Content may be unavailable during maintenance or review. Any limitation of responsibility applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Changes
We may update these terms and publish the new date. Material changes will be communicated through the site where required. These terms do not select a governing law or court while the operator's legal setup is pending. Operator details and applicable procedures must be finalized before public launch.
