Notes for nerds

The franchise spans two manga with separate numbering: Tokyo Ghoul (143 chapters, AniList 63327) for Season 1 and √A, and Tokyo Ghoul:re (179 chapters, AniList 85611) for the two :re seasons; each part has a "sourceTitle" saying which one its chapter numbers refer to (sourceTotal = 143 is for the original Tokyo Ghoul). Per-episode chapters come from the "adapted from" trivia on each Tokyo Ghoul Wiki episode page; the Season 1 endpoint (chapter 66) agrees with Wikipedia. The anime reorders chapters a lot: "ch" is the lowest-highest chapter an episode uses and "chList" gives the exact chapters when they are not a simple run (31.5 is a bonus :re chapter). √A is a divergent, anime-original route, so its chapter numbers are only loose sources. :re Season 2 skips many chapters. Not mapped: the OVAs Tokyo Ghoul [JACK] (2015, adapts the separate 7-chapter Tokyo Ghoul [Jack] spin-off) and Tokyo Ghoul [PINTO] (2015, side story).
